Studieren ohne AHS-Matura

00:14 Mit 15 fing ich eine Bürokauffrau-Lehre an. 00:19 Ich habe dann die Matura abends nachgeholt. 00:24 Jetzt studiere ich Mechatronik / Robotik an der FH Technikum 00:28 und arbeite in einem Pharmaunternehmen. 00:32 Da war von Anfang an klar, dass ich nebenbei studiere 00:35 und die Unterstützung war die ganze Zeit sehr groß. 00:37 Ich habe mit Teilzeit begonnen 00:39 und konnte im Laufe meines Studiums nicht nur meine Stunden erhöhen, 00:43 weil ich das wollte und darum ersucht habe. 00:46 Sondern ich konnte auch die Abteilung wechseln 00:48 und bin mittlerweile Automation Engineer 00:51 und kann mich mit der Automatisierungstechnik 00:54 in der Praxis in meinem Unternehmen auseinandersetzen. 00:57 Es ist wichtig, jede Woche für das Studium 01:01 etwas aufzubringen und sich die Zeit zu nehmen, 01:03 auch wenn man weiß, 01:04 die Prüfungen sind erst in mehreren Monaten oder Wochen. 01:08 Das führt sonst zu viel Lernaufwand, 01:13 den man dann auf einmal für mehrere Fächer aufbringen muss. 01:16 Warum ich mich für dieses Studium entschieden habe, 01:19 war durch meine Erfahrung in der HTL im Informatikbereich. 01:22 Das Technische, Programmieren. 01:25 Aber auch meine Erfahrungen mit der Lehre und dem Job dahinter. 01:30 Das Wirtschaftliche mehr im Fokus zu haben. 01:32 Somit dachte ich mir: Warum nicht beides? 01:34 Das Beste der beiden Welten kombinieren. 01:37 Ich studiere Wirtschaftsinformatik und das Beste an meinem Studium ist 01:41 die Kombination aus der Technik, aber auch dem wirtschaftlichen Teil. 01:45 Mein Arbeitgeber unterstützt mich sehr im Sinne des Studiums. 01:48 Da bin ich sehr glücklich darüber. 01:50 Seien es jetzt wirklich flexible Arbeitszeiten. 01:53 Zeiten, die ich mir selber einteilen kann für das Studium. 01:56 Aber auch Unterstützungen wie die neue Rolle, 01:58 die ich nur bekommen habe, da ich das Studium angefangen habe. 02:01 Die stressigsten Zeiten sind die Prüfungsphasen im Studium, 02:06 aber auch Projektabgaben. 02:08 Da kann es schon sein, dass man sich durchbeißen muss 02:10 und man sagt: Hey, ich brauche noch eine halbe Stunde am Abend. 02:13 Ich muss mich nochmal hinsetzen. 02:15 Auch im Zug durch meine eineinhalbstündige Anreise hin und zurück, 02:19 gleich des Arbeitsweges, muss ich mich im Zug hinsetzen 02:22 und sagen: Hey, ich muss die Zeit nutzen, 02:24 ein paar Skripten durchgehen oder ein Programm fertigschreiben 02:27 oder ein Projekt weitermachen. 02:29 Am meisten Spaß im Studium macht mir 02:31 das Zusammenarbeiten mit meinen Kommilitonen, Kommilitoninnen in Projekten. 02:35 Aber auch zu wissen, dass man weiter lernt, 02:38 dass man nicht stehenbleibt, den nächsten Schritt geht 02:41 und auch das Wissen anzuwenden. 02:43 Vor allem in der Arbeit, während man berufsbegleitend studiert, 02:46 dass man merkt, das bringt wirklich was 02:48 und dass ist nicht nur studiere, sondern ich kann das auch anwenden. 02:53 Während der Lehre habe ich mich erkundigt, 02:56 weil ich gehört habe, es gibt Lehre mit Matura 02:58 und habe mich beim WIFI Niederösterreich erkundigt 03:02 und die Matura in einer Abendschule nachgeholt. 03:06 Dann habe ich zu studieren begonnen und nebenbei weitergearbeitet. 03:12 Parallel arbeite ich bei der Stadt Wien, 03:16 als Referentin im Förderwesen. 03:19 Ich studiere Public Management Freitag und Samstag ganztags 03:23 jede zweite Woche. 03:25 Mein jetziger Chef ist da sehr offen. 03:29 Ich darf die Freitage mit Zeitausgleich machen. 03:32 Ich muss nicht meinen Urlaub dafür opfern. 03:35 Da bin ich sehr dankbar dafür. 03:37 Das ist nicht selbstverständlich. 03:38 Ich nehme generell sehr viel mit vom Studium. 03:41 Dadurch, dass es berufsbegleitend ist, merke ich schon, 03:43 dass viele Sachen, die ich lerne oder in der Arbeit mache, 03:47 eigentlich gleich sind. 03:48 Manchmal sieht man, dass es in Theorie und Praxis nicht immer gleich ist, 03:52 aber es ist trotzdem interessant zu sehen 03:54 und ich kann vieles vom Studium auch in der Arbeit verwenden. 03:57 Es sind viele Arbeiten, die man zu Hause erledigen muss. 04:00 Man muss sich viel im Selbststudium beibringen. 04:02 Prüfungsphasen sind auch sehr kritisch manchmal. 04:06 Aber das sind ein paar Wochen, da beißt man durch 04:09 und dann ist es auch wieder erledigt. 04:12 Mein erster fachspezifischer Bezug 04:14 war das Polytechnische, eine Fachmittelschule. 04:17 Danach habe ich eine Lehre begonnen als Mechatroniker. 04:21 Nach der Lehre habe ich den Werkmeister im Maschinenbau abgeschlossen. 04:27 Nach dem Werkmeister im Maschinenbau war es die Berufsreifeprüfung. 04:30 Nach der Berufsreifeprüfung das Studium auf der FH. 04:33 Ich habe mich für das Studium Internationales Wirtschaftsingenieurswesen entschieden. 04:37 Worauf man sich gefasst machen muss: 04:38 Man unterschätzt den Zeitaufwand sehr. 04:40 Ich hatte anfangs drei Tage die Woche am Abend. 04:43 Ich dachte, ich gehe abends hin, lerne meine Sachen, 04:45 gehe nach Hause, habe mein weiteres Leben - das war nicht so. 04:48 Du musst schon jeden freien Tag, vielleicht nicht jeden, 04:50 aber fast jeden Tag Zeit investieren in das Studium. 04:53 Weil du lernst nicht alles an diesen Abenden. 04:56 Du wiederholst, kannst deine Fragen stellen. 04:57 Aber du musst dich damit beschäftigen. 04:59 Es reicht nicht, anwesend zu sein. 05:01 Gut aufzupassen ist immer gut. 05:02 Aber man muss mehr tun, als nur anwesend zu sein. 05:06 Ich wurde dann befördert - schönerweise. 05:08 Und ich musste dann abbrechen, weil sonst wäre irgendwas schief gegangen.
